Jim Lewis confirmed that the Salvation Army's Kettle Campaign exceeded their $75,000 goal in 2016. They raised $94,303!!

Norfolk Sunrise Rotarians played a substantial part in that success by contributing 88 person hours to oversee the kettles. Kettle donations averaged $103 per hour - so that's over $9,000 in proceeds while Sunrise Rotarians were on the kettles.

The need is great, however, as about 800 people registered to receive a Christmas hamper in 2016 from the Salvation Army in our area.
