Welcome new members Andy & Melanie

The Norfolk Sunrise family is growing, with the induction of two new members this morning.

Andy Kooistra, recently retired from his construction contracting business, has been very much involved with creating the new Waterford trail that links the Waterford Heritage Trail to the downtown, and as a director of the Waterford Old Town Hall. Andy will be our club's representative on the Norfolk County Trails Advisory Committee in 2014.

Melanie Douglas, now a family member and recent Paul Harris Fellow, is retired from teaching in the secondary school system and has been a friend of our club, through husband David, with several programs since the club's inception 17 years ago. That involvement includes the Welshpool Exchange (native to Wales, Melanie is David's connection to that country) and our Spelling Bee. Melanie has provided many years of leadership and service to the Haldimand and Norfolk Women's Services organization.
