Welshpool Exchange Takes Flight

Today we sent 8 Norfolk students and 2 accompanying Rotarians to Welshpool, Wales on an exchange for 10 days.  In October each fall, a group of students spend 10 days in Norfolk, and each spring we return the exchange. Over the 18-year relationship, over 120 students have travelled to Wales, and vice versa.

 

The Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise and the Rotary Club of Welshpool, Wales have been working so closely together over that period that they decided a few years ago to establish an official twin relationship. Several members of the Norfolk Sunrise club have made the trek with students.

 

Students headed for Wales are: Teryn Clapp, Julia Dickson, Emma Shippey-Hoskin, Zack Hudson, Aaron Melynk, Alyssa Nelson, Abi Peck and Lillie Williamson.  Rotarians are Barbara Tanner-Billings and Kristina Kett.
