Angi Shaer is clearly proud of her homeland Argentina, and she gave us some hints why.  Part of it seems to be weather related. "I was freaking out in October" at 1 degree Celsius. And school is out at 12:45 AM daily - what's not to like about that!

Angi was very thankful and complementary about her host families: the Petrie's, Guilmette's and Schneiders - new lifelong parents, brothers and sisters now.

The Algonquin adventure in February made a real impression, though, and stretched Angi to do things she would never have expected possible, and to become someone she would never have anticipated. The Youth Exchange program has that effect on most. Life changing experiences, shaping amazing young people to become even more amazing young people with Rotary ideals and Rotary goals.

Have a wonderful time on the bus trip across the USA, Angi.  We'll look forward to hearing about it!  Thanks for coming into our lives at Norfolk Sunrise.
