On Friday, 22 Aug, ABEL hosted their dual AGM & Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) grant recognition event.
As part of the festivities, they hosted representatives from OTF and welcomed the local MPP. They also had their newly-branded events trailer on hand for people to see and brag about the sponsorships ABEL has attracted over the months.
They were delighted to see that RCNS was listed right underneath of OTF as a result of the many contributions that our Club has made to ABEL over the years. ABEL has said that they truly appreciate what this has done for their community charity. Lots of great outcomes for ABEL members financially, and most importantly; they have benefitted from significant new growth and confidence through this new project.
This is one thing that Rotary does - helping to build capacity where it truly belongs. Well-done to Scott Williams and the entire ABEL Enterprises team - you are a blessing upon our community.
