t our morning meeting on 29 Oct, our Foundation Chair, Wolf Lindemann, provided an overview on the polio disease and the Rotary response to it. Here is the Rotary link to this information.Wolf covered the timeline associated with polio, the world-wide effects being experienced, the genesis of the Rotary support program as leveraged with prominent citizens and global governments. He also noted the current circumstance and the degree of success we have achieved. He concluded with our own support of the program and the ways in which addressing the need can be arranged into the future.
Thanks for a great presentation Wolf - we cannot remind ourselves (and others) of the importance of this program too much - the update was much appreciated.
