For the first time, the RCNS will be involved in a local community Ribfest - the Norfolk Count Ribfest scheduled for July 18-20 at the Simcoe Fairgrounds.Our role is to support the event and to use the opportunity to raise funds through a 50/50 draw.4000 tickets have been printed at $5.00 each in order to sell at Ribfest in July. Many of you have volunteered to man our tent in order to sell as many as possible. Last night at our Changeover many of you picked up a book or 2 and will be selling before the event.
Rotarians can win, family can win, so no limitations of this raffle. Gail Catherwood will be put some of the tickets in her mailbox at 13 Highland Ave, Simcoe, for you to pick up and sell before July 20.
If all 4000 tickets are sold, it will $20,000, 1/2 to winner, $10,000 and our Club will get the other $10,000 less raffle cost and ticket price.....nice start to the new year of Rotary! Thank you everyone for your support
