At one of our recent Catch the Ace (CTA) events/draws at the Port Dover Legion, it proved to be a perfect occasion to present the local Special Olympics group with a CTA cheque for $2,400. Present to receive this very welcomed donation was Kim Hammond and Karissa, each shown flanking Michele Langedyk from our Community Service group.This donation is in direct support of the Simcoe Special Olympics competing teams; in this case to provide for bus travel to 6 different meets throughout Ontario. As Rotarians. we are very proud to be able to support this awesome community group; local volunteers who emulate our motto "Service above Self".
