Although the Canadian pilots in WWII were all male and often barely teenagers, the young ladies performed many other important roles, including helping to build the airplanes. At the Mount Hope Airplane Museum, exchange students engaged in role playing and other interactive exercises to learn what it was like to be involved in the war effort. They even provided a British tour guide who knows the Welshpool community!
