Vision for Norfolk

Charlie Luke our current incumbent is a Native of Norfolk County and grew up on a farm. He attended school locally and is a graduate of McMaster and Brock Universities. He has 12 years of business experience in accounting at Texaco and Stelco and 30 years of experience both as a teacher and a Principal. He has 34 years as municipal councillor and 4 years as Norfolk County's Mayor. He is married with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. He enjoys golf and his workshop when he gets a few minutes of spare time!

Russell Colbrook was born in Chatham Ontario. He moved to Simcoe in 1975 and worked as a taxi driver for the next 43 years hanging up his keys in April of this year. He lives in the former village of Renton with his long time companion Linda. Between them they have 3 children and five grandchildren. He is a member of the Army and Navy Airforce, Simcoe and was a past executive and Sargeant at Arms. Russell previously ran for council in 2006 and 2014 in Ward 5 but was not elected. Russell states his mantra remains the same:I'm an ordinary man, with the same concerns as all of the ordinary people in Norfolk County. He is running for Mayor to see that everyone gets equal representation from council.
