On Tuesday morning, 01 April 2025, and as introduced by Gail Bouw, we were privileged to welcome Bobbi Ann Brady, our recently re-elected Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) as our special a guest speaker. At our hybrid (ie live attendance at R83 with zoom remote attendance) session, she spoke to us about a variety of local issues related to her responsibilities/roles in the new provincial government. Her most engaging talk included remarks about, her priority concerns (democracy in general and the promotion of our rural/agricultural community), her thoughts on the value of being an independent MPP, her regard for the local volunteer community (especially for those who get up so early!) and her reflections on her upbringing & family life as related to her present career/life.
More information about Bobbi Ann is given at this Wikipedia site or at her Legislative Assembly site.
After a question period that had to be cut off, Keith Jones offered Bobbi Ann our sincere appreciation for a great presentation, for the totality of her committed support of our community, for 'being who she was' and for 'keeping the faith' in difficult times.
