On Tuesday morning, 25 Nov 2025, Keith Jones welcomed our own Maria Kinkel as our Guest Speaker. At our hybrid (ie live attendance at R83 with zoom remote attendance) session, she spoke to us about her professional, legal experiences as related to the importance of having, and maintaining, a relevant will.
Maria offered a professional reflection on the need for, and complexities associated with, a modern will. Much has changed. She reinforced her points with several humorous anecdotes and stressed that ‘now’ is the time to consider your personal needs related to estate planning.
A short biography about Maria is given at the ‘Read more …’ tab - this is an excerpt as taken from the MHN website which may be found by clicking here.
Following a very full question period, Keith Jones added his personal appreciation for the trip down his own memory lane and thanked Maria for a fresh and important take on a topic we should all be taking seriously.
