PH Award '24 - Vinod Ghai
 

Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise President John Wallace was pleased to be able to present a Paul Harris Fellow award to our long time friend and major contributor to Operation Eyesight projects in India, Vinod Ghai.   Vin has been supporting Operation Eyesight projects for many years.   Rotarians Jim Dawson and John Wallace travelled to the Toronto home of Vin's son Sasha who had invited many relatives and long term friends to celebrate with Vin on receiving this award.  The award is the highest honour that Rotary gives to people who exemplify the Rotary motto of “Service above Self”. Vin certainly demonstrated this throughout his career by supporting many philanthropic projects including school upgrades and eye projects through Rotary as well as scholarships and major donations to universities.
