Red 5

It was a FUNtastic FUNDraiser - we were literally blown away!
On a near perfect, albeit very, very windy, first-day-of-summer, a very community-minded group of golfers (from near and far) teed off at the Greens of Renton Community Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, 19 June 2026.  RCNS provided more than its fair share of golfers as well as hosting the 'Red 5' hole and being one of 27 charities represented at the tournament. Our 'Red 5' hole was designated to celebrate our 30th Anniversary (the idea of chipping a light plastic ball through the hole in the “30" balloon was great until the wind intervened!) contest The winner of this almost impossible task took home a $100 prize - draw winner was Eddie Bilopovlovic), as well as a 'hole in one' hole opportunity ($10K prize - no takers this year!)
Kudos to the Greens of Renton fore (pun intended) retaining such a great community fundraising idea. Our special Club gratitude goes out to Louise Schebesch for once-again organizing our support as well as to the others who braved the wind by stepping up once again to volunteer their time for such a worthy community support event.
