On May 26, we were updated on the status and experiences of our RCNS exchange students. It was a terrific morning to further appreciate the value of this program for certain very fortunate students but also on the lives of those around them.
As they are just about to complete their one-year experiences in Canada, Rasmus (from Denmark) and Daniel (from Spain), were offered their own opportunities to tell us their own stories; to recount to us the many ways that their lives have been improved as a result of the Rotary Youth Exchange programs.
This success is only possible because of the selfless involvement of the community host families and the tireless leadership of the joint RCNS/RCS Youth Committees as led by Rudi Atkinson (YEO RCNS) and Amber McKnight (YEO RCS). As did the students, we sincerely thank them all.
